This would have been a great a book to listen but I am now just going to read this book. Their eyes meet, there's a moment of pure magic. I reconfirmed our reservation just two days ago.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? It was painfully annoying listening to her attempts to mimic the accents and the language -- it was downright insulting at times. When Rachel Chu agrees to spend the summer in Singapore with her boyfriend, Nicholas Young, she envisions a humble family home, long drives to explore the island, and quality time with the man she might one day marry. When his captors discover that he speaks several languages, he is put to work as a Tätowierer German for tattooist , tasked with permanently marking his fellow prisoners. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father's wedding, she can't ignore the big life decisions she has to make. What she doesn't know is that Nick's family home happens to look like a palace, that she'll ride in more private planes than cars, and that with one of Asia's most eligible bachelors on her arm, Rachel might as well have a target on her back. I obtained a physical copy of the book, and there are many useful, entertaining footnotes that have been omitted in the audiobook.
